What are your prices?

Basic Packages start at $1000 for 3 hours. My Platinum Package starts at $1750 for 3 hours.

My goal is to provide you with the BEST experience possible! The packages are all-inclusive with sales tax included. Monthly payment plans are available upon request. A deposit of the 1st months payment or 50% down is required for booking.

Do you take song requests from guests during the event?

First, it’s up to you whether or not you’d like me to take requests from guests. I’m happy to take song requests as long as they fit the current situation on the dance floor. We also have an awesome music request platform to minimize guests approaching at the DJ booth.

What’s the music planning platform?

I use google docs to manage all my wedding planners. This is the best way to collaborate with all my clients. I also send my clients a couple of completed wedding planner examples to give them an idea of music they want for their wedding.

Do you MC and make all announcements?

Yes, being the MC is an important part of my business. I love getting people excited by being interactive. In additional to making announcements

What if I request a song that you don't have in your library?

Thanks to the internet, I can usually find a song no matter what and play it on the spot. Having access to the venues private Wifi connection helps with this process.

What's your favorite music to play?

Anything that gets people excited and dancing! Personally, it depends on my mood since it changes everyday.  You can you can say I'm an all around DJ.

Do your rates include setup/breakdown time?

I only charge you from the time music starts to the time music stops. Travel, Setup, Breakdown is all included at no extra cost.

What time do you begin setting up?

I like to begin set up about 60-90 minutes before the event starts.

How long does it take to break down?

It usually takes about 30 to 45 minutes; sometimes a little longer depending on which package you get.

How far in advance do I need to book you for my event?

If you’re planning your event on a Friday or Saturday within the next year it’s time to book now! Currently booking 2020/2021 events.

When is the payment due?

There are 3 options for payment

 

1. Paying in Full (Upfront)

2. 50% Down (Upfront), 50% Later

3. Monthly Payment Plan (1st Months Payment Upfront)

Can you provide wireless microphones?

Yes, you have a choice of wireless handheld, lavalier or over-ear microphones.

What are the differences between dance floor lighting, uplighting, and intelligent lighting?

Dance Floor Lighting is lighting directed to dance-floor area. These are multi-colored lights that help create a lively, exciting environment! 

Uplighting is a popular lighting effect created by strategically placing lighting fixtures on the floor around the perimeter of the venue and pointing them upwards. Thus creating the effect of "up lighting".

 

Uplighting is a very effective way to dramatically improve the ambience of an event space. You can rent up to 28x Uplights at a time depending on the size of your venue.

 

Intelligent lighting refers to lighting that has automated or mechanical abilities beyond basic dance floor lighting with glowing totems.

Does the ceremony time need to be included in the total package hours?

You only have to get the ceremony setup if the ceremony is taking place in separate location from where the reception is taking place.

 

 

 

Example: Reception is taking place inside the ballroom, ceremony is outside. You need the ceremony setup.

What if my event is 4.5 hours or 5.5 hours?

 

Kindly round up :) I don’t charge for consultations, venue walkthroughs, music preparation, travel time, setup or teardown.

Do you travel for destination weddings?

Absolutely, I love to travel! There are only 3 things that we’d need to work out.

Equipment Rentals (Minimum 2x Speakers, 2x Speaker Stands, Dance Floor Lighting, Cables)

Most locations have a music store nearby for rentals

 

Transportation 

Flight, Rental Car 

 

Accommodations

Hotel

What if there’s an emergency and you can’t make it to the event?

I am part of another DJ company called ‘Jumpstart Jockeys’. There’s always a DJ available to cover in the unlikely event of an emergency.

Do you work holidays?

Yes, but my rates are double on all major holidays.
